Für die englischsprachige Tourneeproduktion von Richard O‘Brien‘s Rocky Horror Show suchen wir für alle Rollen englischsprachige Darsteller (Muttersprachler) mit starken Rockstimmen (Belting) und ausgezeichnete Tänzer mit starken Rockstimmen.
We are looking for english-speaking performers (only mothertongue) .All characters require good dance skills and strong vocals with varying degrees of ‚rock‘ sound and belt.
FRANK’N’FURTER · FRANK’N’FURTER (Male, 30 – 39)
Physically and sexually attractive to women and men. Mysterious, mischievous, outrageous, out spoken, self gratifying and self centred, but capable of a sensitivity and passion for his human counterparts. Good sense of comedy, strong presence. Playing Age: 30’s Vocal Range: Strong Rock Baritone.
BRAD MAJORS (Janet’s fiancé) (Male, 20 – 29)
Handsome American college jock. Well mannered, Shy …. But tries something a little naughty. Attractive, smart and intelligent, with a simple charm and naivety about him. Playing Age: 20’s Vocal Range: Strong rock/pop tenor.
JANET WEISS (Brad’s fiancée) (Female, 20 – 29)
The girl every clean living American boy would want to take home to his family. Quiet, but just a little annoying; Attractive petite female. Playing Age: 20’sVocal Range: Soprano with strong belt.
RIFF RAFF (Male, 25 – 40)
Frank’n’Furters servant and Magenta’s brother. A slimy, uncomfortable creature with a chilly manner. Not too pleasant to look at. He shows great strength of character. Tall, skinny build. Playing Age: 25 to 40Vocal Range: Tenor with strong falsetto.
MAGENTA / USHERETTE (Female, 25 – 40)
Riff Raff’s sister. Attractive, strong, confident, subservient to Frank’n’Furter. Exotic, bewitching, smart and beguiling, great inner strength. Playing Age: 25-40. Vocal Range: Alto/Soprano with big rock belt.
COLUMBIA (Female, 25 – 40)
Eddie and Frank’n’Furters x-lover. Excitable, energised, frenetic, finds excitement in everything. Bubbly, energised, fun and neurotic all bundled up in a ball of sillyness. TAP DANCING SKILLS REQUIRED. Playing Age: 25-40 Vocal Range: Mezzo with strong belt.
ROCKY (Male, 20 – 29)
Frank’n’Furters new creation! A beautiful specimen of muscular manhood. Perfect body, beautiful to look at. Boyish, shy, naive, simple and unobjectionable. Beautiful male actor with superb body. NOTE: The singing (tenor) is not the most demanding of the role, though he has one solo number. Gymnastic skills advantageous. Playing Age: 20’s.Vocal Range: Tenor.
EDDIE / DR SCOTT (Male, 30 – 45)
EDDIE: The jilted lover of Frank’n’furter (and Columbia). Once rather attractive, he has lost his way a bit. Adored by Columbia, with the Rock and Roll jive number ‘Hot Patootie’ he creates great excitement from all except Frank. Good Rock and Roll baritone voice.
DR SCOTT: is Janet and Brad’s elderly science teacher. Friendly, kindly professor type and the only sensible, responsible adult in the piece. Wheelchair bound. Fatherly old scholar with decent voice. Playing age: 30’s/40s. Vocal Range: Baritone.
PHANTOMS (Swing and Covers) (Female/Male, 20 – 29)
PHANTOMS. STRONG VOCAL and DANCE ABILITY.
The mysterious ‘chorus’ of the piece. They provide vocal choral backing through out the musical score. Vocal ranges as required. Acting skills necessary for covering Principals roles. Playing Ages: 20’s Vocal Range: Strong singers, all ranges
